Christos Moulias, son of Athanasios and Nina (née Drosou), was born in Patras on January 26, 1950. He is married to Athena Koutrotsiou and they have two children, Thanasis (a lawyer) and Katerina (a philologist).
In 1967, he graduated from the 4th Gymnasium of Patras and enrolled in the Faculty of Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from where he obtained his degree in 1973.
From October 1973 until February 1976, he served his military service as a Reserve Second Lieutenant in the Infantry.
In 1976, he was appointed a lawyer in Patras, where he has since maintained his own law practice.

In the tribute issue of The Books’ Journal (August 2022), on the 50th anniversary of the death of Rodis Roufos, he published an extensive article titled “History is Created by Spirit, Not by Force,” regarding the trilogy of the honored Chronicle of a Crusade.

In 2021, he was appointed by the Region of Western Greece as a member of the Advisory Committee for evaluating proposals submitted by organizations and individuals for activities and events in view of the 200th anniversary of the Greek Revolution.
He has delivered numerous lectures in Patras and other cities and has participated in presentations of historical and literary books.
In 1994, he was awarded by the “Achaian Society of Studies” for his book Georgios V. Theocharopoulos Patreys. An Unknown Patras Scholar and in 2022 by the Philological Society “Parnassos” for his body of work.
He is President of the Historical and Ethnological Society of Peloponnese and the Philharmonic Society – Odeon of Patras since 2009, lifetime member and Secretary of the Administrative Committee of the Charitable Foundation “Triantios Professional and Industrial School of Patras” since February 1994, member of the Administrative Committee of the “Ioannis and Euterpi Topalis Foundation” since 2009, member of the Board of the Association “Brotherhood, Saint Apostle Andreas of Patras.”
He has served as Secretary of the Administrative Committee of the “Lida, Nana and Spyros Doukas Foundation” and member of the Board of the “Diakidios Folk School of Patras” and the “Achaian Society of Studies,” under the presidency of Kostas N. Triantafyllou, and the “Municipal Library of Patras.” He has been Secretary of the Board of the “Friends of the New Archaeological Museum of Patras” Association since its founding in 2006, corresponding member of the Philological Society “Parnassos,” member of the “Society of Friends of Panagiotis Kanellopoulos,” the “National Society of Greek Writers,” the “Society of Peloponnesian Studies,” the “Society of Writers of Southwestern Greece,” the “Philatelic Society of Patras,” the “MITOS – Parents and Friends Association of Persons with Autism,” and the charitable association “Social Solidarity Asylum for Incurables of Patras ‘Saint Euphrosyne’.”
